The Lochside House Hotel was built during the late 19th century by the Marquis of Bute and used as a shooting lodge. Bought in 1999 by current owners Robert and Vivien Kyle, it has undergone various stages of extensions and refurbishments resulting in an award winning venue, achieving a four star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.
